About Me

I’ve been passionate about fitness and movement for as long as I can remember. Growing up around sports, I was inspired early by my father — an ex–Judo champion who competed in the 1976 Pan-Arabic Olympics.

At 18, I started working as a group fitness instructor and later as a personal trainer. A three-month gymnastics training camp introduced me to rings work, bodyweight training, and rope climbs. My go-to style was always circuits. When I went looking for a gym with a rope climb and found CrossFit, I realized it brought everything I loved into one place: cardio, weightlifting, and gymnastics. I fell in love with the workouts, the community, and the constant learning curve.

Since then, I’ve competed in two CrossFit Opens and one quarterfinal. I plan to compete again, but lately other life responsibilities have taken priority, so I’m focusing on those. Competing is a lot of fun — and at the end of the day, I compete to improve my own fitness and give myself a measurable benchmark.
